- 12 fresh walnuts
- 1/2 L brandy at 50°
- 250g granulated sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar

Shell the nuts. Cut each walnut kernel into four pieces.
Place the pieces of walnut kernels in a wide mouth jar with a hinged lid.
Add the granulated sugar and the vanilla sugar to the walnut kernels in pieces then cover with brandy. Mix well.
Close the jar with the lid and leave the walnut liqueur to macerate for 3 months, stirring occasionally.
At the end of this time, filter the walnut liqueur and put it in bottles. Cork.
Store the bottles of walnut liqueur in a dry place away from heat, until tasting.
