Thermomix burger sauce
There’s nothing like a good Thermomix burger sauce to coat the ingredients of this American sandwich that everyone loves. Have you ever thought of cooking it yourself? Thanks to the Thermomix, nothing could be easier!
- 1 red onion
- 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 C. mustard
- 3 tbsp. chopped chives
- 3 pickles
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Preparation 10 minutes
Peel the onion, quarter it and put it in the Thermomix bowl with the pickles and chives. Mix 10 sec, speed 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Carve an onion
Add the oil and sauté 5 min, 80°C, speed 2, with the simmering basket in place of the measuring cup.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix 1 min, speed 6. Then give turbo shots, if necessary, until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous sauce.
You can prepare a Thermomix burger sauce with visible pieces of pickle and chives. In this case, chop only the onion in step 1. Chop the chives and gherkins and add them, with the spatula, at the end of the recipe.
