Tarallini
Tarallini are small savory snacks originating from the Puglia region of Italy. They are mainly tasted as an aperitif. Very crunchy, children love them just as much as adults.
Ingredients :
- 250g of flour
- 80ml olive oil
- 80ml dry white wine
- 1 C. sesame seeds
- 1 C. salt

Preheat your oven to 180°C (th.6).

In a bowl, pour the flour and form a well. Add salt, oil and white wine. Knead until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Add the sesame seeds.

Form small sausages with the dough and gather each end to obtain several small circles.

Bring a pot of water to the boil and drop the tarallini in small groups. When they rise to the surface, take them out and drain them. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for around 25 mins. Watch the cooking.
Tips
You can substitute sesame with other types of seeds like fennel seeds. You can also make plain tarallini if you prefer.
