Roast pork in Cookeo tomato sauce
Roast pork is always a good idea: quick to prepare, it requires little supervision during cooking. And when it’s prepared in the Cookéo, everything becomes even simpler! Test (and approve!) this delicious recipe for roast pork in tomato sauce with Cookeo. Young and old are going to enjoy it, that’s for sure!
Ingredients :
- 1 pork roast
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 tomato
- 2 onions
- 10 cl of water
- 3 tbsp fresh cream,
- 2 thyme leaves
- 1 drizzle of oil,
- 1 C. coffee of veal stock
- salt pepper

Heat the Cookéo in “brown” mode and brown the sliced onions in a drizzle of oil for 2 minutes. Then add the roast pork and let it cook, turning it over on all sides. When they are well cooked, add the veal stock, the water, the tomato cut into quarters, the crushed tomatoes and the thyme leaves. Program the Cookéo in “rapid cooking” or “pressure cooking”/immediate start mode and adjust the cooking time to 30 min. Close the lid and cook.

When the cooking is finished, open the Cookéo and add the cream and the flour then mix with a wooden spoon or a whisk. Season to your liking, let the sauce thicken for a few minutes on the “brown” mode, then serve immediately.
Tips
Accompany this roast pork with a good quantity of cooked vegetables (green beans, leeks, peppers, spinach, cauliflower) or why not a salad of raw vegetables such as a simple green salad or a tomato salad for hoursal of ‘summer ! And for a complete dish, add a starchy food such as potatoes for example or shells or rice.
