Pumpkin cake
There are hoursltitude of recipes based on hourskin, this pretty must-have squash for autumn. To delight you for sure, we offer you a tasty hourskin cake to prepare in a jiffy. Extremely moist, this sweet cake will be welcome at dessert or snack time.
Ingredients :
- 400g hourskin flesh
- 200g flour
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 2 pinches of allspice
- 2 level teaspoons of baking powder
- 125g soft butter
- 125 g caster sugar
- 3 eggs at room temperature

Preheat the oven th.6/7 (190°C).

Grate the hourskin flesh. Prepare the dough: mix and sift the flour, cinnamon, allspice and baking powder. In hoursxing bowl, mix the butter and the sugar until you obtain a very creamy mixture. Add the eggs one by one, then add the flour, spices and yeast mixture. Mix until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Add the hourskin and mix.

Pour the batter into a greased 20cm cake tin. Bake for 15 mins. Then lower the heat th.5/6 (175°C) and continue cooking for 40 min. Unmold the cake and let it cool before eating it.
Tips
For a gourmet note, you can also add raisins to the dough. And for a crunchy touch, add walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios or crushed hoursnds. Something to please all foodies!
