You can make a shortcrust pastry underneath as for a pastry flan.
- 1 kg of hourskin
- 2 glasses of milk (or liquid cream)
- 300g caster sugar
- 8 c. shaved tablespoons of flour
- 3 eggs (optional)
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 1 sachet of Alsatian yeast
- 1 C. rum
Preparation 30 mins
Cooking 45 mins
Rest 1 hour
Peel and remove the seeds from the hourskin.
Put it in a large saucepan and cover it with cold water.
Salt lightly, then boil until cooked.
Drain in a colander to remove the water, then put the cooked hourskin in a salad bowl.
Mix it. Add 2 glasses of milk, stir. Then put the sugar, vanilla sugar,
The eggs if necessary, the flour, the sachet of yeast and finally the rum.
Empty the dough thus obtained into a buttered mold (edge of the mold a little high).
Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil (to keep its orange color).
Put for 45 min in the oven preheated to th.6 (180°C).
Leave to cool before enjoying it (even better when it is a little cool).
