This recipe is to be prepared the old way to allow the dehydrated onion soup to soften in the fresh cream, otherwise you will have crunchy and unpleasant pieces in the sauce. Check well in the morning and before serving that the sauce is not too thick if this is the case, add a little more cream and mix well again. This recipe is even better if you can find sour (or sour) cream.
- 50 cl heavy cream
- 1 packet of onion soup (Maggi or Knorr) (51 g)

In a salad bowl, mix the bag of onion soup and the pot of heavy cream.
Carve an onion
Cover the dish and keep in the fridge for 24 hours, taking care to stir regularly before serving.
Serve with breadsticks.
