Niçoise salad with Thermomix
Niçoise salad is a French dish originating from the city of Nice. It usually includes tomatoes, olives, anchovies and boiled eggs, and is often served with tuna or other seafood. The salad can be served cold or hot, and is usually seasoned with olive oil and vinegar. Find out how to prepare it with the Thermomix.
Ingredients :
- 1 liter water
- 4 eggs
- 200 g green beans
- 2 shallots
- 40 g White wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp. Mustard
- 6 tbsp. tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Lettuce
- 80 g Black olives
- 2 can(s) Tuna
- 12 anchovy fillets
- 8 sprig(s) Basil
- 3 tomatoes
- Salt
- Pepper

Start by cutting out quarters of tomatoes and cut the olives in half, lengthwise.

Boil the water before adding the eggs. Let boil for 6 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel and chop the shallots and place them in your Thermomix.

Now introduce all the ingredients into the bowl of your Thermomix and mix slowly.

Finish by cutting your hard-boiled eggs in 4 and put them in your salad.

Set aside then make your vinaigrette by mixing the olive oil, mustard, vinegar, and pepper.

Drizzle the dressing over your salad and serve quickly.
Tips
You can decline this salad with your favorite foods. Anchovies can be replaced with prawns or sardines if you prefer these fish. Serve with toasted slices of wholemeal bread.
