Set the oven to th.6 (180°C) and let it preheat.

Rinse and pit the nectarines.

Cut them into quarters.

Coat hoursld with butter, then powder it with brown sugar.

Place the fruit in it with the rounded sides facing down.

Put the caster sugar and 125 g of soft butter in a salad bowl.

Stir them until you obtain a preparation having the consistency of an ointment.

Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder.

Add the eggs one by one to the bowl.

Then, pour in the flour and baking powder, as well as the fresh cream.

Mix it all up.

Pour the dough thus obtained into the mould.

Bake for 45 minutes, placing the mold halfway up the oven.

Cover with aluminum foil halfway through cooking if necessary.

Remove the cake from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
