Monsieur Cuisine Smoothie
To get the day off to a good start or regain energy at snack time, drink vitamins! The Monsieur Cuisine smoothie can be prepared in no time and combines a host of fruits that are as delicious as they are rich in nutrients: banana, pineapple, melon, orange and lemon. The banana provides the energy, the citrus provides the vitamins, the melon and the pineapple sweeten it all… and the whole gives a beautiful golden color to the drink, to be sipped well iced for a refreshing break.
- 1 banana
- 1 orange
- ½ melon
- ¼ pineapple
- ½ lemon
- 20 cl of orange juice
- 200g ice cubes
Preparation 10 minutes
Peel all the fruit except the lemon, remove their flesh, cut it into large pieces and place them in the bowl of the Mr. Kitchen.
Add the squeezed lemon juice, orange juice and ice cubes. Launch 12 sec at speed 5 with the measuring cup.
Restart for 1 min at speed 10, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Divide into glasses and serve chilled.
For a healthy and energetic Monsieur Cuisine smoothie, add the flesh of a very ripe avocado! Do not hesitate to replace the fruits with others according to the season, as long as they remain juicy. You can easily find canned or frozen pineapple, which is healthier since it does not contain syrup: if you choose the latter, reduce the amount of ice cubes. As for boosting fruit flavors, consider adding a few mint leaves to the smoothie, if you have them.
