Mashed carrots and potatoes with the Thermomix
Carrot and potato play the perfect match in this recipe for mashed carrots and potatoes with the Thermomix. Rely on the seriousness of your robot and let it concoct this delicious crushed vegetable on its own. Your only task: to peel and cut the vegetables, before adding them to the other ingredients in the Thermomix bowl.
- 350g carrots
- 350g potato
- 300g milk
- 50 g heavy cream
- 20g butter
- salt pepper

Cooking 30 mins
Peel, wash, then cut the carrots and potatoes into small cubes of about 3 to 4cm, as evenly as possible. Pour them into the bowl of the Thermomix. Add milk and cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 30 minutes at 100°C, speed 1.
At the end of cooking, mix the puree for 15 sec, speed 5, until obtaining a very smooth and homogeneous puree.
Add the butter and serve hot.
For a denser purée with texture and small pieces of vegetables, blend the purée for 15 sec, speed 5 instead of 40 sec. You can decorate this puree with grated cheese and fried onions, sprinkled on top when serving.
