Lentils with bacon in the Thermomix
Lentils with bacon in the Thermomix are really very easy to cook. Assemble the ingredients in the bowl of your food processor then leave to simmer quietly while you go about your business. You get a complete, creamy and tasty dish that you can also serve as an accompaniment to roast or grilled meat.
- 250g green lentils
- 200 g of bacon
- 200g dry white wine
- 400g water
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot
- 1 chicken or vegetable stock cube
- salt pepper

Cooking 45 mins
Peel the carrot, onion and garlic and cut them into pieces in the bowl of the Thermomix. Mix 5 sec, speed 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

How to degerm garlic?
Add the bacon bits and sweat 4 min, 100°C, reverse, speed 2.
Pour the wine and water into the food processor tank then add the stock cube and the lentils. Program 45 min, 100°C, reverse, spoon mode.
Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
If you wish, you can garnish these lentils with bacon in the Thermomix with chopped fresh parsley.
