Homemade hazelnut puree
Hazelnut puree is very practical to replace butter or any other fat in cakes or to enhance pastries with flavor and delicacy. We invite you to learn how to make a tasty homemade hazelnut paste. You will only need hazelnuts to prepare this paste in a jiffy.
- 250 g shelled hazelnuts

Preheat your oven to 160°C. Arrange the shelled hazelnuts on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the hazelnuts for 6 min. Stir the hazelnuts halfway through cooking. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let cool.
Rub the hazelnuts between your hands to remove as much of the small skin that covers them as possible.
Place the hazelnuts in your blender. Blend the hazelnuts, gradually increasing the speed. You should get a smooth paste. Pour the hazelnut paste into an airtight jar.
This recipe can be used as a base for other dried fruit pastes. Thus, according to your desires, you can replace the hazelnuts with hoursnds, pistachios, walnuts or even peanuts. To make this pasta tastier, roast the dried fruit in the same way as the hazelnuts.
