Chips, we love it! As an aperitif, for a picnic, in front of a football match… you can’t get enough of it! But what could be better than homemade chips? And what is good is that you can decline them with lots of vegetables! From the classic potato crisps, to those of carrots, parsnips, passing beetroot, zucchini or sweet potato crisps. Potatoes, a fryer, a pinch of salt and all that remains is to enjoy! You can also season them with spices such as paprika, curry, or celery salt for example! Make beautiful homemade chips with our quick and easy recipe and amaze everyone.
Ingredients :
- 4 beautiful Yukon Gold or Charlotte potatoes
- 1 liter oil (peanut, sunflower)
- smoked paprika
- Espelette pepper
- various fine salts, curry (of your choice)

Choose potatoes of the same size as much as possible in order to have very regular chips.

Peel the potatoes, rinse them under cold water and dry them with a clean cloth.

Cut the potatoes into thin strips using hoursndoline or a grater.

Soak the potato slices in a container filled with cold water to extract the starch well. Take them out and let them dry on a clean cloth.

Heat the oil to 180°.

Once the oil is at temperature, place your slices in the fryer. Stir with a slotted spoon to prevent them from sticking together. When your chips are golden brown, take them out of the frying bath, drain them and place your homemade chips on absorbent paper.

Salt immediately so that the fat from the oil is absorbed. Season your homemade chips with the spices of your choice.
