ginger juice
Ginger has many virtues. It notably facilitates digestion, contains antioxidants, prevents colds… And what better way to consume it regularly than to make a delicious drink? Very fresh, ginger juice is very popular in several African countries, combined with lemon and pineapple. Easy to make, this juice will be your health and vitality ally all year round. Ingredients :
- 300g Pineapple
- 150 g fresh ginger
- 1 liter water
- 80g Powdered sugar
- 2 lemons
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 sachet Vanilla sugar

Remove the skin, the “eyes” and the central, hard part of the pineapple. Cut it into cubes.

Wash organic or untreated lemons. With the phoursof your hand, roll them on your work surface. Squeeze their juice.

Rinse the ginger. Peel it and cut it into pieces.

Place the pineapple cubes, ginger pieces and lemon juice in a blender. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and water.

Mix everything until you get a homogeneous consistency, without pieces of fruit or ginger.

Wash the mint leaves and pat them dry.

Pour the juice obtained into a bottle or carafe and slip the mint leaves into it. Reserve in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before tasting, so that the ginger juice is very fresh.
Tips
Ginger and its peppery flavor may still be a little too spicy for your taste. In this case, do not hesitate to add a little powdered sugar to soften the taste of your drink. You can also test alternatives by flavoring your juice with a hint of nutmeg and a spoonful of orange blossom water.
