Fish shell with Thermomix
If you keep empty shells in the cupboards, it’s time to take advantage of them. With coalfish, a few prawns, mushrooms and a creamy sauce au gratin in the oven, you will get fish shells in the Thermomix that are as elegant as they are tasty… and as perfect for a refined starter as for a chic and light dish with a nice salad. !
Ingredients :
- 500g saithe fillets
- 300g shelled prawns
- 200 g button mushrooms
- 200 g grated Gruyère cheese
- 65g flour
- 3 tbsp. level coffee powdered fish stock
- Salt pepper

Wash and chop the mushrooms. Cut the saithe into pieces.

Pour 50 cl of water into the bowl and add the stock. place shrimp and fish in simmering basket, shrimp on bottom and fish on top. Install it, close the bowl and insert the Varoma. Place the mushrooms in it, then cover and cook for 15 minutes in Varomhoursde, “mix” speed (the spoon).

Then remove the Varoma and the simmering basket. Add the flour to the bowl and cook for 6 minutes at 90°C on speed 4.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Divide the fish and prawns into empty scallop shells, then add the mushrooms.

Pour the sauce from the bowl into the shells and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 minutes in the oven.
Tips
The Thermomix fish shell can also be cooked in a ramekin or casserole dish, depending on the containers available. For an even more generous recipe, add mussels in addition to shrimp and a spoonful of cream to the sauce!
