Champagne soup is a great classic when it comes to Champagne-based cocktails. Simple and quick to prepare, this Champagne soup is perfect for an aperitif with family or friends. This is an original recipe that will appeal to lovers of this sparkling alcohol.

Ingredients :

  • 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine
  • 10 cl lime juice
  • 10 cl cane sugar syrup (failing that, 4 tbsp cane sugar)
  • 20 cl of blue curaçao
  • -For decoration:
  • 1 lime

Preparation :

  • Preparation 5 minutes

  • 1

In a large salad bowl, pour the champagne or sparkling wine, lime juice, cane sugar syrup and blue curaçao. Stir with a large wooden spoon to evenly distribute the flavors.

  • 2

Keep your champagne soup in the refrigerator until tasting.

  • 3

When serving, set up cocktail glasses or flutes, decorate them with slices of lime.

Tips

If you don’t like curaçao, you can replace it with Cointreau, following the same recipe and the same quantities. If you don’t have lime on hand, you can also make this Champagne soup with lemon juice.
