Cupcakes at Monsieur Cuisine
Fancy a slightly decadent dessert or a frankly comforting snack? Double the fun with Monsieur Cuisine cupcakes, which combine moist chocolate muffins with creamy mascarpone frosting. Gourmet cupcakes prepared in a food processor for an inescapable and time-saving recipe, something to delight young and old in no time with a well-stocked pastry!
- 120g flour
- 100g dark chocolate
- 90g sugar
- 90g butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 C. cocoa powder
- 1 C. baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- For the icing:
- 150g mascarpone
- 30g icing sugar
- 1 C. milk
Preparation 20 mins
Cooking 25 mins
Prepare the glaze or whip the mascarpone with a fork, with the milk and icing sugar. Fill a piping bag with this mixture and set aside in the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Place the chocolate, broken into pieces, in the Monsieur Cuisine bowl and run for 12 sec at speed 8. Scrape the sides with the spatula, then run for 15 sec at speed 1 at 50°C. Transfer to a bowl and reserve.
Pour the sugar into the Mr. Kitchen’s bowl. Add the butter in pieces and run 1 min at speed 4.
Scrape the walls then add the eggs, the baking powder, the cocoa sifted with the flour, the salt and the melted chocolate. Launch 2 min at speed 4.
Fill paper-lined muffin cups with this mixture. Bake for 20 minutes then let cool.
When the muffins have completely cooled, swirl them with the frosting using the piping bag. Decorate as desired.
Decorate your cupcakes at Monsieur Cuisine! Add colored sugar balls, broken cookies, chocolate squares or shavings, crushed pistachios, hoursnds or hazelnuts, fruit coulis or liquid caramel to the icing… You can also add a few drops of food coloring to tint frosting if desired.
