Christmas cupcakes in 1 hour

Ingredients :

    • For the dough:
    • 3 eggs
    • 125g melted butter
    • 1 C. water
    • 1 preparation for Vahine Cupcakes
    • To roll out the sugarpaste:
    • icing sugar
    • For the decoration:
    • A stick of Vahine red sugar paste
    • A stick of Vahine black sugar paste
    • A stick of Vahine green sugar paste
    • A stick of Vahine white sugar paste

    Preparation :

    • Preparation 1 hour

    • Cooking 25 mins

      Preheat the oven to th. 6 (180°C).

      Prepare the cupcake batter:

      First prepare the dough. Mix the contents of the Vahine Cupcakes preparation sachet with 3 eggs, 125g of melted butter and 1 tbsp. water.

      Fill the cupcake cases ¾ full.

    • 5

      Put them in the oven and bake them for 20 minutes.

      Remove from the oven and let cool.

      Create a star cupcake:

      Roll out the green sugar paste with a little icing sugar to prevent it from sticking. (Also be careful not to put too much otherwise it will leave traces!).

      Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles the width of a cupcake.

      Using a brush soaked in water, lightly moisten the back of your sugarpaste element and stick it well in the center of the cupcake.

      Then spread the white and red sugar paste with a little icing sugar.

      Cut out small stars and larger stars using two cookie cutters of different sizes.

      Using a brush soaked in water, lightly moisten the back of the stars and stick them on the green base previously placed on the cupcakes.

      Create a sugar paste cord in two colors:

      Take two small pieces of sugarpaste of different colors. Here red and white.

      Roll them on a work surface each separately with a little icing sugar to obtain two strips 1/2 cm wide.

      Then tie them in a single twist, making sure to tighten the straps well.

      Then roll this twist on a work surface with your hands to weld the two sugar pastes and create a single strip.

      Cut the length of strip you want and glue it around your green base using a brush dipped in water.
