Chipirons with Espelette pepper
It’s deliciously exotic, very simple to make and it delights the taste buds depending on your dosage of chilli!!!
Ingredients :
- 1 kg prepared fresh or frozen squid
- 400 g strong chorizo
- 2 cloves garlic
- olive oil
- 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
- 1 sprig of parsley
Preparation :

Fry the calamari over low heat in a little olive oil.

As soon as the water has evaporated, remove from the heat and reserve the calamari.

In the same skillet, heat the fairly thick slices of chorizo.

Halfway through cooking, turn them over and add the chopped garlic, stir quickly and add the squid (they then take on a red-orange color).

Stir again vigorously, then add the pinch of chilli.

Stir quickly and serve immediately with white rice and a few slices of lemon.
