Cheese balls
Delicious as an aperitif. Success guaranteed! Eat right out of the oven. I was inspired by recipes from Pao de Queijo in Brazil. Follow the proportions and cooking time exactly.
Ingredients :
- 175ml milk
- 100g butter
- 1 egg
- 5g salt
- 2g pepper
- 400 g cassava flour (tapioca)
- 225 g grated cheese (75 g mozzarella, 150 g emmental)

Melt the butter, mix it with the milk. Add salt and pepper, then wait for the mixture to cool completely.

Break the egg, beat it and add it to the mixture. Sift the cassava flour, then add the previous mixture.

Finish mixing with your hand, as the dough becomes quite firm. Add grated cheese.

Form small balls 2 to 3 cm in diameter, rolling a little dough in your hands.

Place them on a plate. Bake in a hot oven at th.6 (180°C), for 14 min (fan-assisted heat).

As soon as the cheese in the balls takes on a color (light brown), remove the balls, which remain hoursst white. Eat hot.
