Beet Ginger Smoothie
This delicious beetroot and ginger smoothie is a real concentrate of benefits. Beets help prevent the risk of cancer, regulate blood pressure and cleanse the body. Ginger promotes digestion and reduces the feeling of fatigue. Combined in this smoothie, these two foods allow you to fill up on vitamins while delighting your taste buds.
- 200g cooked red beets
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 15 cl of water
Preparation 10 minutes
Dice the beets and place them in the bowl of a blender. Peel the piece of ginger and add it to the bowl.
Squeeze the lemon and also pour the juice into the bowl. Add the water.
Mix everything well until you get a homogeneous smoothie. Divide into 2 glasses and enjoy chilled.
To enhance the benefits of this smoothie, you can add other fruits and vegetables to it. Carrots or apples go very well with beets. Peel them, cut them into cubes and add them to the blender. You will get an ultra-vitamin smoothie!
