- 5 very ripe bananas

Heat some oil in your fryer or in a fairly deep skillet.
Peel the bananas and cut them into very thin slices.
Plunge the slices into the simmering oil for about five minutes. They should be golden brown.
Drain and put them on absorbent paper. Salt the banana chips and put them in a container.
Wait a few moments for them to cool then serve!
