Avocado, lime and coconut cream ice cream (without ice cream maker)
You love avocado… but have you ever tasted it in ice cream? It’s surprising and very good! This avocado, lime and coconut cream ice cream is made without an ice cream maker, very simple and very trendy on social networks under the name of “Green Nice Cream”… Our recipe is therefore trendy, healthy, vegan but above all … very good !
Ingredients :
- 2 ripe avocados
- 20 cl coconut cream
- 1 lime (preferably organic)
- 2 tbsp. tablespoon agave syrup (or honey)
- a little grated coconut for garnish

Collect the lime zest and juice. Whip the coconut cream as if you were making Chantilly cream. Peel and pit the avocados. In a salad bowl, mix the avocado flesh with half the lemon juice (+ if you want) and the agave syrup.

Fold the mashed avocado into the coconut whipped cream. You can do it simply with a spatula, or like here, by giving a few turns of an electric beater. Also add the lime zest.

Place this preparation in the freezer for about 1 hour, it should start to freeze on the sides. Whisk it for a few seconds before putting it back in the freezer for about 2 to 3 hours until you get the consistency you want. Form the balls of ice cream, decorate your cups of ice cream with a slice of lime, sprinkle with grated coconut, and enjoy…
Tips
Like all homemade ice cream, without preservative additives, this ice cream will tend to harden if you keep it for a few days in the freezer… we advise you to taste it 3 hours after it has been put in the cold or let it soften at room temperature. at least 20 minutes before serving.
