Almond milk with juice extractor
Are you banning animal milk and looking for vegetable and gourmet alternatives? Look no further, we have what you need! Almond milk is arguably the sweetest, most flavorful plant-based version. To be sure to consume a quality drink, make your own hoursnd milk with a juice extractor. This way you can dose the sugar and salt according to your preferences.
- 70g hoursnds
- 1 liter of water
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation 15 mins
Start by soaking the hoursnds, at least 4 hours, and ideally overnight. You can absolutely choose whole unshelled hoursnds, it will cost less.
The next day, discard the soaking water and pour the hoursnds down the chute of your juice extractor. Taking care to close the cap (to prevent the liquid from flowing), then pour the water. Run the machine and then collect the milk.
Add salt to optimize conservation: count 3 days in the refrigerator. You can then add, if you wish, the sweetener of your choice (dates, coconut sugar, etc.).
Almonds provide quality vegetable proteins, eat them from breakfast to dinner by including them, for example, in your vegetable stir-fries. You can also recover the hoursnd pulp (after passing through the juice extractor) for the preparation of your homemade pastries.
